CAREER SEEKERS EVENT:
City of Portland’s Job Application Process Course:
Course participants will gain an understanding of the City’s online application process. Participants will learn about differences between employment with the City versus private sector, the steps of how to apply: creating an account with NEOGOV, reviewing job announcements, submitting your application materials, application communication, and interviewing types.
The class is for all city employees and the public who are interested in gaining a better understanding of the City’s job application process. Minimum of 5 attendees or class will be cancelled.
Where: Classes are being held in the Portland Building:
1120 SW 5th Ave, 2nd floor, Room HR-1
When: Classes are offered on the following dates:
- September 15, 2015 12:30pm to 1:30pm
- October 6, 2015 12:30pm to 1:30pm
- November 3, 2015 12:30pm to 1:30pm
- December 1, 2015 12:30pm to 1:30pm
