We’re hiring for two positions this month! Communications Manager (deadline to apply: July 30th) and Data Ecosystem Manager (deadline to apply: July 16th).
Communications Manager
We’re looking for a Communications Manager who is excited to advance our mission for racial justice by communicating our work and accomplishments, building and shifting narratives, and effectively engaging our communities to support systemic change for racial justice.
The Communications Manager will be responsible for leading and executing our communications plan and strategy. They will increase the impact of our work by engaging with CCC’s various audiences through our communications channels, including our website, emails, and social media. You will work across the organization to create content that shares our work in an accessible manner, including our research projects and reports, advocacy agenda, environmental justice priorities, and opportunities to get involved. As our communications lead, you will build a cohesive organizational identity to effectively communicate our mission and impact, and establish CCC as a leading voice for racial justice in Oregon.

Data Ecosystem Manager

We are hiring a new Data Ecosystem Manager to shift how communities and governments use data to understand climate and health.
The Coalition of Communities of Color is launching a new collaborative partnership with community-based organizations and governments to create a local level data ecosystem. As the Data Ecosystem Manager will drive this new initiative to strengthen community power and generate upstream changes to invest in health equity and climate resiliency. You will convene partners to build a shared understanding of the role of community data and draw on these outcomes to shape the creation of a new data ecosystem and support its implementation.
By data ecosystem, we mean an interconnected network of data provided by community-based organizations and government partners, with a plan not only for managing this data but also its governance, use, and communication through means such as infographics, dashboard, community forums, and other means of sharing information.
